Lake Affect aims to get kids from inner cities to imagine how big the world is once you've looked out at the horizon or up at the stars. You might be inspired to challenge yourself once you've felt the thrill of jumping off a dock and into a cool lake.

Inner city to the great outdoors
The logo was developed as a metaphor for the Lake Affect experience. The symbol represents the window from the grey, concrete jungles of the city to the wide-open space only found in nature, where kids can be kids.
The secondary mark (LAFF!) is an abbreviation of Lake Affect and a joyous expression of the good times to be had at camp. Bright colors create a sense of childhood fun and stand in vibrant contrast to the metal and asphalt palette of the inner city.
